NaNoWriMo 2010

I'm not supposed to join NaNoWriMo this year. I have too much work for school. Really. And i should rewrite my NaNoWriMo of 2009, as a project for that writing class I'm taking.
But plotbunnies keep attacking me. So I'll just steal an hour a day... First I'll make sure all my schoolwork is done, and then I Write Or Die for an hour. Only an hour. I can spare an hour, right?

Oh, god. I'm addicted to NaNoWriMo. This is a distaster.

NaNoWriMo 2009

I did it.

I finished the story.

52 467 words.

The ending feels a bit rushed, but I'm tired and I can totally live with a bit of a rushed ending. It's short, but it's only a kind a epilogue, so that's okay. It is allowed to be short.

So. I'm done. Starting tomorrow (sorry, today, according to the clock) I'll make homework and go socialize.

For now: sleep.

NaNoWriMo 2009

My big plans for the weekend ended with a meagre 40k. Still ahead of scedule, but more than 500 words a day was impossible. I could blame the hangover I had (my first and hopefully last) but that would be lying. I was, simply, stuck. I didn't know where to go from there. In the last 10k the story had to be finished, all loose ends wrapped up, and I still didn't know where my characters were going. So I stalled.
Until yesterday. I was lying in bed, and suddenly I had an epiphany. I saw where it had to go, how they would get there, and now I'm praying I'll get it wrapped up in less than 10k, because to write I'd like both inspiration (check!) and time (damn).
I ran downstairs, grabbed a pen and wrote down the plotline. Than I went to bed, and this morning I did my homework, which was more-or-less finshed at half past four in the afternoon. And then I wrote.
I'll keep writing. The 45k awaits me. And after that...

Wordcount: 43055.

39076 words. And now I'm going to enjoy my guilty pleasure... watching Domino Day 2009! (I like the colours.)

And then I'll write another 1000 words. And tomorrow I have so much homework - so much! - but I'm going to reach 43k this weekend. At least, I hope so. Perhaps even 45k... I can dream, right?

Just passed the halfway mark, and suddenly PLOT jumped at me. It's not what I had in mind. The stuff I had in mind has become more or less impossible, but there's a chance I can still use it as filler. But hey, wow. Plot. So sudden and unexpected. Me like. ;-)

I'm debating whether to write some more this evening. I'm in the mood, but the next part is plot. Which is nice, but I feel like stalling. That's the danger of the 20 tot 30k period. *shivers*

So, what's happening on facebook? *angelic* I need distraction!

I'm stalling... I should have started writing an hour ago. Oops.

Now a quick visit to facebook, and then I'll start, promise.

I feel *crazy*. I have no idea where this story is heading. Hell, I suppose.

Now I've reached my goal for today and I still have half a liter of tea left. But no more chocolate!

Oh, stats: 15319 words. Yeah!

New record. So yes, it's getting a bit easier.
